On behalf of the IBEA board, Conference Planning Committee and myself, we warmly welcome you to the 2018 IBEA Annual Fall Conference in beautiful Sun Valley Idaho.

 

As we began the process of planning this conference our main focus was on the educator and how much you matter both in the classroom and as an individual. The conference theme, You Matter, and also the location of the conference were chosen to help you remember to take care of yourself and that you are not alone.  Throughout the conference we encourage you to enjoy yourself, exchange ideas with fellow business teachers, and attend meaningful sessions that will help you chart your journey towards a successful school year.

 

To put a state conference together is not a small task.  I would like to thank Spencer Christensen (Conference Chair) for volunteering to help organize this event and Dr. Brenda Jacobsen for guiding Spencer and I through the process.  I would also like to thank all of the sponsoring organizations for providing their generous financial support and creative sessions. Lastly, I would like to thank all of the conference participants for their contributions which are the foundation to our You Matter campaign.
